P: File Disappearing

Bump, just had the same issue three times in a row, file gone each time. Any update on this?

Did we get anywhere with this issue?

I am having a similar issue that results in the "File promoted to a new photoshop document". I use IPAD PS to edit photos and this problem started today, but is not occurring with every file uploaded. 
I have tried several fixes;

1) restart iPad

2) created duplicate file on iCloud but still get "File promoted to a new photoshop document" when using HOME button on iPad PS.

3) I saved file in different format (was jpg and I saved as png to finder on iCloud), then reopened in iPad PS, then tried PS HOME button which still resulted in the "File promoted to a new photoshop document".

4) Then I went to my MacBook Pro, opened PS, and looked for file in the RECENTS and the file was not there.

5) I HAVE NOT deleted the app and reloaded it. I am leery of doing that.

All my devices are updated to latest versions.

Anyway, have you a solution for this?

I am having the same issue with anything 15 mb and larger- "promoted to a new photoshop document" and then it disappears. 

@CShubert , I sent a collaboration link via files on ipad. Let me know if that works. That is the template I am working with. I was unable to share the document itself due to the size being too large so I sent as a collab.
