P: Files with gradient layers created in 22.5.2 look different in 23.0

Hi,

I have recently installed Photoshop 2022 (v23), and I was surprised when I opened my PSD files that were using the gradiant map layer style in the layer stack..

They look different 😞

Indeed, Adobe introduced the Perceptual, Linear and Classic methods. This looks great at a first glance, but the default is 'Perceptual', and 'Classic' is not applied when you open a PSD that contains gradiant map layer styles.

This sound as a bug, because PSD files should retaint the corrections intent of the retoucher.

Please, add the capability to set the default behaviour for thr Gradiant Map Layesr Style in the preference.

Thank you.

Also Keep in mind that all our registered actions are affected because the default method is not classic...
Indeed, runnimg any action that contains Gradiant Map is affected..

This is very annoying, because a lot of pannels are going to fail with they intent....

I guess that backward compatibility should be the first rule when adobe release a new version of photoshop...

Thank you
