P: Floating document windows in fullscreen w/menu bar causes window to jump to center

With the new release, the zooming mechanism has changed and it always behaves as if "Zoom Clicked Point to Center" was turned on when I am using keyboard shortcut (mapped to Wacom Pen). It works as expected when I'm zooming with scroll wheel.

Christoph's suggestion to disable the graphics processor is good. Odd color changes like that are often GPU issues and that would narrow it down.

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Hi Benedikt,

Sorry for the frustration. Would you please:

1. Go to Help > System Info and paste the contents of that window
2. Make a screen shot of what you're seeing and paste that also?

Thanks,
Hannah

We have the issue, with several documents open at the same time in Photohop 2018, the color changes when zooming in – color display becomes wrong (very bright and pale)...
Then Photoshop has to be restarted again. Could be part of the same problem.

Hi, Jeff, as Hannah said, I got back to previous version, and that's easy and quick.
If you didn't got attached yet to the new features of the last version, the headhache is just gone.

I know that Adobe can not comment on exact release dates, BUT can someone over there at least tell me if this will be fixed before the Olympics (Feb 9)? I am heading over to Korea to photograph for Team USA and will be living in Photoshop. This little bug will be a time killer for me.

When not working in tabs, images will not open center screen. They open far left. Which on a 27" screen, is significantly inconvenient. So each and every time I open an image, I'm dragging to center. When not working in tabs, is there anything I can do to have images open centered on the screen, where my face is and where they belong? There's a script out there for this somewhere but I lost it. Shouldn't need to be a script tho for something so basic.
