P: Freeze when adding blending options

When I attempt to add a stroke to text under blending I get the spinning color wheel after I apply the color.  Results in a force quit and loss of work.  

SOLUTION?

    I'm sorry that didn't work.  Can you email me the PSD file you are working with.  My email is sender@adobe.com.
    In addition, can you also provide your Help -> System Info ?

    Hi Mike,
    Thank you for reporting this issue.  As a temporary workaround, can you please enable Preferences -> Performances -> Legacy Compositing.  Our engineering team is working on this issue and should have a fix for you in a Ps v21.0.x release.
