P: Helvetica Neue Bold doesn't render spaces under Lion

Loaded up some PSDs that I had created in Snow Leopard after installing Lion and they looked fine... except for one thing. Anywhere that I used Helvetica Neue Bold there were no spaces in between words anymore.

This issue doesn't occur in anything else other than Photoshop (I've actually also seen it in Illustrator). Tried clearly Adobe font cache, multiple times... no dice. It would be very awesome to get a solution on this because it's preventing me from using that font, which is used quite often.

Helvetica Neue Bold is rendering spaces for me on CS5.1 trial.

I'm not sure if it's on CS5. But until now I'm hearing complains only from CS3 and CS4 users.

@B.O.B - So just to clarify, is the problem absent from CS5? I'd like to know if I did (stupidly) upgrade, I would be rid of this problem.

Agreed! Wholeheartedly!

Yeah, $650 just to fix one font's spaces would be lame.

CS4 (Extended) for me 😞

I do on CS4. I really hope Adobe don't treat this as a way to make us upgrade to CS5. That would be a low blow.

So it does. Are folks having this issue on CS4 and CS5?

Same problem here on CS3.
