Hi @warm_visionary5EAD @Karl5D3A @jessicai48494331,

Thank you all for following up and sharing your details. I really appreciate the time you’ve taken to try various troubleshooting steps already.

@Karl5D3A, I see you’ve mentioned the steps you’ve already tried (including clearing space, reinstalling, and factory resetting), which is super helpful.

However, I couldn’t find an .ips crash log attached to any of your latest messages. Could you please upload the latest Adobe Photoshop crash log to a cloud service like Google Drive, WeTransfer, or a similar platform and share the link here? You can find the ips log by going to:
iPad Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data
Look for a file that starts with Adobe Photoshop and matches the time of the crash, eg, (Adobe Photoshop-YYYY-MM-DD-123456.ips).

That file will help the team dig deeper into what’s happening and continue investigating the issue effectively.

Thanks again for your patience while we work through this.

Best regards,

Anshul Saini

Hi @Anshul_Saini

The issue started presenting itself yesterday.

I am using a 7th gen iPad

ipadOS 18.5

I contacted Adobe assistance twice, the first time i was told to have at least 10gb of free storage room in my ipad for PS to work, ater deleting a few apps and files. i tried it an it didnt work. I was also told that resetting my ipad to its factory settings would solve the issue, tried it too, it didnt. I also reinstalled the app multiple times before that.

Hi Everyone, @Karl5D3A @jessicai48494331 @warm_visionary5EAD

Thanks for reporting this and bringing it to our attention. This crash issue is understandably frustrating, and we want to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

We have received several IPS files; thank you all for sharing them. We will wait for the product team to provide an update on this issue, so please stay tuned.

To help us investigate further, please confirm a few details:

• What version of iPadOS are you using?

• What is your iPad model and generation?

• If possible, can you share the latest Photoshop .ips log file?

You can find it by going to:

iPad Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data

Look for a file that starts with Adobe Photoshop and matches the time of the crash. Then, please upload the latest Adobe Photoshop crash log to a cloud service like Google Drive, WeTransfer, or a similar platform, and share the link here or via DM with me.

Thanks again so much for your patience. We have already logged a bug, and your information will help us investigate the issue faster.
@tomv7434, thanks for sharing the IPS file for investigation.

Best,

Anshul Saini

I am using:

IPadOS 18.5
iPad Pro 12.9” 5th Gen
MHR63B/A

Please see attached .ips file as requested

It would be a relief to finally get a resolution to this issue, as it has been going on for years and never been able to use Ps on my iPad properly.

Kind regards

No fix or even a work around. Photoshop still very much not working. Adobe have not responded at all since my initial contact. Not impressed!

Having the same issue here. The app opens the title page and immediately closes.

iPad Pro 2nd gen

ipadOS 17.7.8

Photoshop app stopped working yesterday but was working absolutely fine previous days.
I contacted Adobe, they diverted me to contact Apple and after doing all the troubleshooting steps including a complete factory reset still no luck. Back to Adobe and I've had to leave it with them to look into and waiting for a response. I need this for work as I am on the go. All other Apps are working fine.

I updated to version 6.3 yesterday. Photoshop crashes as soon as the splash screen comes up, and I can't get it to open. iPad is 6th gen with iPadOS 17.7.8. There haven't been issues with any previos releases.

Hi @tomv7434,

I'm sorry to hear Photoshop 6.3 is crashing on your iPad. That definitely shouldn’t be happening, especially if previous versions worked fine. Let’s try to figure out why.

• Could you please share the latest Adobe Photoshop-YYYY-MM-DD-ABCDEF.ips log file? You can find it by going to:
iPad Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data
Look for a file that starts with Adobe Photoshop and matches the time of the crash.

• Also, just to check, have you already tried restarting your iPad or reinstalling the Photoshop app?

These steps will help us pass the most useful info along to the team to investigate further.

Best,

Anshul Saini

Hi Anshul,

Attached is one of the ips files (changed to a txt file for upload). To answer your question about restarting the iPad and reinstalling Photoshop, yes to both.

Tom
