P: (June) PS 27.7 Generative upscale does not work. Topaz and the generative fill works

Same problem for the last couple of days, progress bar will flash and disappear immediately, ‘We have encountered…..’

Mac OS Tahoe 26.5.1

Photoshop 27.7.0

No VPN.

Fails on any image.

Restart does not fix.

Router restart does not fix.

Plenty of credits available.

Colleagues having the same issue.

Topaz works but it sucks.

Need this fixed asap, please advise.

Same problem here. Since yesterday the generative upscale with firefly does not work. Topaz and Generative Fill works.

Hey all! The team is aware of these unusual failure rates and is currently investigating. If needed, I’ll ask for more info.

I've had the same problem since yesterday.
“An error occurred and the request cannot be completed at this moment. Please try again.”

• Windows 11 Pro / PS Beta 27.9 and PS 27.7

• I’m not using a VPN

• I have the same issue on a different network

• The error appears every time I use “Firefly Upscaler”

• Restarting the program doesn’t help, and I’ve also restarted the computer

its only firefly upscaling that does not work. topaz works fine, but not happy with the results.

same here. 

Same situation in Photoshop. Since two days I can't scale images in Firefly. Topaz unfortunately does not give satisfactory results for me. The servers do not look overloaded nevertheless the service does not work. In the browser version I can do it without a problem but not in Photoshop !!

Upscale wasn’t upscaling as reported by many users. I did the update that was meant to fix it but it still is not working. Just so you know I tried multiple jpg’s around 1000 x 1000 pixels by 72dpi. It still takes credit even though it fails. Gets to abou1% of process and shows attached message.
