P: (June) PS 27.7 Generative upscale does not work. Topaz and the generative fill works

It seems that’s the same issue.

Everything is fine except for this Firefly upscale issue. I've tried everything: updating, restarting, clearing case files, even the beta versions, but it still doesn't work. I repeat, everything else is fine; Topaz Gigapixel and Topaz Bloom are working normally. Only Firefly upscale is malfunctioning, and I urgently need it.

I am using Photoshop 27.7.0 and have a Creative Suite Pro subscription. Since yesterday, the Firefly Upscale feature has stopped working and immediately displays the following error message:

“Something went wrong and your request cannot be completed at this time. Please try again.”

The image I am trying to upscale is not too large, it is a JPG, and it uses the sRGB color space. Generative Fill works without any issues. The problem only occurs with the Upscale feature.

I have already restarted Photoshop and even rebooted my entire computer, but unfortunately neither solution helped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Same problem for the last couple of days, progress bar will flash and disappear immediately, ‘We have encountered…..’

Mac OS Tahoe 26.5.1

Photoshop 27.7.0

No VPN.

Fails on any image.

Restart does not fix.

Router restart does not fix.

Plenty of credits available.

Colleagues having the same issue.

Topaz works but it sucks.

Need this fixed asap, please advise.

Hey all! The team is aware of these unusual failure rates and is currently investigating. If needed, I’ll ask for more info.

I've had the same problem since yesterday.
“An error occurred and the request cannot be completed at this moment. Please try again.”

• Windows 11 Pro / PS Beta 27.9 and PS 27.7

• I’m not using a VPN

• I have the same issue on a different network

• The error appears every time I use “Firefly Upscaler”

• Restarting the program doesn’t help, and I’ve also restarted the computer

its only firefly upscaling that does not work. topaz works fine, but not happy with the results.
