P: MacBook Pro Apple M2 Max Laggy Liquify

Well it turns out Liquify doesn't work well on the Beta either but everything else is fine and I couldn't go back to 24.3 without the Amazing Remove Tool and the contextual bar... I just wish the contextual bar was more elegant and efficient and the 20-year-old style popup windows got a much needed refresh. I wish for floating windows and sliders that don't obstruct the pictures, even on big screens. Photoshop needs a modern overhaul...

I definitely don't recommend using the current Beta on a production machine, lots of things don't work.

Well I got tired of waiting for Adobe to fix liquify for M2 and downloaded the PS Beta... Not only Liquify works fine but the Beta also has the New Remove Tool which is the most amazing tool ever! It's an AI content aware removal tool that works better than anything I've ever seen before. Make sure to check it out!

I went back to PSp 2022 whe re liquify works great even if it isn't free of bugs , got few crashes on macbookpro M2 Max as well ... Looks like it won't be free of bugs for a long time for those M chips

Adobe please! It's been 10 days and no fix for the M2 problem. I have a new Mac and can't use it because I really need liquify. Please FIX ASAP!

I have a Mac Mini M2 16GB RAM 256G SSD and Photoshop 24.3, the liquify tool is also super laggy. I have tried to disable/enable native canvas, or to move the scratch disk to another extended large SSD, or to totally re-install the OS and PS, none of these approaches works. Only turing off GPU works but the face detection have to be disabled.

We bought several Macbooks M2 Max 64gb for our design team and we all experience the lag issue while using Liquify. No other plugins installed, we're using the latest update. Please fix it, Adobe.
