P: Make the brush cursor easier to see (too thin, not enough contrast with some colors)

In last updates I'm having problem seeing brush (paint and healing) cursor when working with colors similar to cursor grey (grey or brown midtones for expamle).

Sometimes cursor changes to white, but for very short time and very randomly.

So it's really hard to see where I'm just gonna paint or heal. It is really annoying and tiring.

Maybe the "team" would respond to someone they actually know...does anyone have any connection to a "team" member? Please call them, write them a letter and mail it or something! Jeez, it seems like the brush could switch between either white or black and not hurt anyone's feelings.

@Tom_Gugel I make it work because I have to. Like you, I lose track of the cursor all the time and it's royal pain, but until Adobe decides that fixing bugs is as important as making filters to turn a frown into a smile, that's what we have to work with... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@andre_schneider_7299466 I understood that 🙂 What I meant is if it is possible to work properly for you like that, although it is terrible. For me it's definitely not, I still lose track and it is extremely stressful.

@Tom_Gugel no, I don't get along, that's why I said it's terrible.

@andre_schneider_7299466 and you get along with that workaround? Because even if one does, which is ridiculous on it's own having to do something like that. you most easily lose track again if the cursor is small/small brush

It is just a disastrous fault in implementation

*eunta31 unfortunately it doesn't happen only in gray gray, but in anything that is close to mid values. I work with skin 100% of my time and 99% of the skin makes the cursor disappear or close to disappear. It's terrible to work having to press the space bar or the Command key every 5 or 6 strokes to know where the cursor is.

I know, I did not judge your comment by that. And also I don't care if there are 1000s of more gimmicks for consumers implemented.

As long as you would be able to do serious work properly still, and with this cursor at high resolution one is not. That's what I meant. Basically the same as you said.

I've mentioned neural filters not because they're good or bad, but because I have to pay attention to these little problems that have been going on for years.

I also update Photoshop 2021 only for review and use the previous version for actual work. But that's not the solution.

I think not only the photoshop version but also the photoshop version is causing problems. Because I installed Photoshop 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and used it all. But at some point, all the photoshop versions are the same.

c) This would be the easiest fix in the world to implement

a) on 4K you not have only problems in gray-gray, but also on certain color layers

b) literally all professional retouchers work in gray-gray at some point, but many of them just don't update PS anymore for exactly such reasons, because the errors get more and more ridiculous. good that we have neural filters, this is what the world needs. To display the main part of work properly is not so important 🙂 as you say
