I can confirm that the Materials panel is not opening after updating to v 24.1
I'm on a Windows OS

Try 24.0 or 24.0.1

The problem occurs in 24.1

Dopo l'aggiornamento 24.1 il Pannello MATERIALI non si apre più!!! Bisogna iscriversi a Substance 3D e pagare??? Io già pago l'abbonamento a Photoshop perchè non posso utilizzarli gratuitamente????

This may be a bug. I do have the Substance 3D collection, but I couldn't get the Materials panel to open in 24.1 on either Windows 10 or on macOS.

Adobe is shutdown for the holidays, but I'll see if I can get a message to someone on the team. In the meantime, you might try installing a previous version of Photoshop.
