P: Move tool auto-select is selecting layers in hidden or locked groups

Every day I work in PS CC is another day I'm painfully reminded of this bug. Where are the updates Adobe?

What news do you base that assertion on?

So I have a file with multiple folders that are locked and turned off (not visible).
With the Move Tool selected and holding down command, I click and drag...
normally, that would select everything that is in the area that I drag the marque over, with the exception of what is in those locked and/or hidden layers. Now, even with those layers locked and not visible...it is selecting everything within those folders. This is a HUGE issue and is slowing me down a great deal.

Is anyone else having this issue?

This really needs to get taken care of ASAP.

I don't even want to work in PS anymore because of this problem. Any word on a fix?

Im going to have to revert to an older version of PS because of this disfunction. This really impacts work flow, when can we expect a fix?

Any updates on this? It's a critical issue and causes many problems when working fast.
