P: Neural Filters download buttons are all greyed out with SDL or FRL (Licensing)

Hello,

I am using a MacBook Pro with Catalina and have recent upgraded to Photoshop 2021 (Ver 22.0).  I go into the Neural Filters and both Skin Smoothing and Style Transfer both say "Not Available" but the Download button is greyed out for both.  In the other section, there are 6 Beta filters that also are exhibiting the same behavior.  All Not Available and the Download button greyed out.  There are also some other filters listed that only have a button that says "I'm Interested".  How can I get these filters downloaded so I can try them out?

I got Adobe to help me with the update and now Photoshop says I do have the latest update. But none of the new features are showing up. Anybody else have this problem or know what it might be?

In CC Desktop, try going under help and then click Check for Updates.  You can try doing that in Photoshop specifically as well.

Thanks Rocky. I don't see an update being offered yet, but I will keep my eyes open for it.

There was an update for Photoshop this morning.  After downloading and installing it, all the Neural Filters were available to download and working, except the ones that say "I'm interested.  Looks like Adobe fixed the issue on their end.

That's exactly what mine looks like as well. All the lower filters show no option to download.

Engineering has tracked down the issue with SDL licenses. FRL is more complicated. We'll update this thread when we have more information.

I am having the same issue as described above. Running Mac OS 10.15.6, using PS 2021 on a shared license in on-campus lab. Only Smart Face and Depth Aware Haze are available. Have run all updates through creative cloud, restarted PS, restarted Mac, reinstalled PS, all with no luck. Tried following above advice about deleting "PluginData" folder but I have no such folder. In Application Support\Adobe\UXP I have only an "extensions" folder, nothing else. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This worked for me

Quit Photoshop, delete or rename the following folder, Start Photoshop, and try again:

Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\
PluginsStorage\PHSP\22\Internal\com.adobe.nfp.gallery\PluginData

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP/PluginsStorage/
PHSP/22/Internal/com.adobe.nfp.gallery/PluginData

restart Photoshop and you'll see the download button activated.

It has been over a week, and we STILL don't have a fix for the "filter not available"/download button grayed out issue? I have tried at least 6 different fixes: Uninstalled/reinstalled Photoshop, deleted the plugindata folder numerous times, made an administrator account, put my temp folders back on the C drive, made sure my Windows 10 and and graphics card was up to date. I was on a chat with Adobe support for about 3 hours the other night, and they took control of my computer, and still could not make it work. If people cannot download the filters, why not just provide them to use in another way? Such as a Photoshop update that includes the filters?

*Youngho Kim  I DO NOT have a shared license, just little old me in my house. So I do not think a shared license is the issue.
