P: New 23.3 update bug exposure with mask in 32 bit

So. I update today. I have simple action which I have been using for many years to supress highlights -

  • in 32-bit image create ajustment layer "exposure"
  • Apply image to mask of this layer
  • Apply exposure to the mask (gamma correction) to separate dark and light in the mask
  • Feather mask
  • modify in exposure layer option "exposure" to -0.3

And now in 23.3 all highlights turn to BLACK SPOTS

Again - i have simple exposure layer with mask, in this layer i change only "exposure" to -0.3 and this turn white color to the black! what [removed]? It breaks all logic.

А back to 23.2 and here all works fine.

Windows 10 with latest updates.

Hi

It works fine here.

Can you try two things

1. Go to Preferences > Performance > GPU settings> Advanced and uncheck GPU compositing

Click OK close and restart Photoshop

Retest

If that does not help:

2. Go to Preferences >Technology Previews and check Deactivate Native Canvas

Click OK then close and restart Photoshop

Retest
