P: Pen tool lags

In Photoshop CC the pen tool lags about half second from when it is initially clicked. This makes it very hard to work fast using paths. It literally takes half a second for an anchor point to appear after clicking.

So maybe this seems to be a W7 specific problem?

By the Way: I Figured out, if i press ALT+R Click on my mouse, the sizeidicator for my brushsize appears where i can drag to the horizontal or vertical to adjust the size. This indicator also is affected by this lag. That means when i click and want instantly change the size, this indicator needs about 1/2-1 sec to appear.

Dear Chris Cox,

We are also facing the same problem. We have upgraded the RAM and Processor also but still the problem remain the same. It will be very helpful if you could help us as soon as possible, because our lot of money and resources is wasting because of this issue.

That was about 14.0, and should have been addressed in 14.1.
