P: Photoshop 22.0: Where is Line Weight/Width and Pixels options?

I'm having trouble using the Line Tool in PS 22.0.0.

How do I set the width/weight of the line? In PS 21 there was a "Weight" option along the top bar, but I don't see that anymore. Am I missing it? Or did it move?

This might be a separate issue, but the lines I'm drawing are not showing up. I have a fill color and stroke color selected, but when I make a line, I don't see it. I just see a blue outline of where it is... the same that might happen if I made a "path" instead of a "shape."

I just need to make a line with a width/weight of 20px.

I agree....I'm seriously looking for alternatives. Affinity could be one and I'm going to give it a try. You pay once and the software is yours forever with updates included up to the next version.

I've been always convinced this cloud thing is just a good way to spill your money every month to be a beta tester. Since they push you to update all the time, they don't have to produce high quality code....just update and fix. This in total desrespect for people using the same tool for years and after an update...surprise, some UX-statistician-genius decided to remove it.

I agree, I've been trying to be patient but this is beyond old. I think we're looking at a classic case of if Adobe holds out long enough the villagers will grow passive.

Please, just push out a hot patch and get everybody back to where they want to be. It's not as if we're asking you to create new functionality. We want to be rolled back to something that we once had. The code already exists.

It is certainly silly that it could take a massive company with loads of resources this long to revert a basic essential tool to its original function.  I assume its taking this long because they are trying to retain the new fangled 2 point line tool as well somehow...  but this wait is ridiculous.  You messed up big time by underestimating a basic tools usefulness, Adobe needs to fix this and apologize/refund/own up whatever it takes.  Such unprofessional and typical corporate tone-deaf BS...

WTF happened to the line tool? I've been using Photoshop for decades and can't fathom the decision making process that went into this change. I suppose some ambitious Adobe PM decided they were smarter than the rest of us and thought it would be a good idea to redefine what a "line" is. Brilliant! I suppose I'd welcome a change that was intuitive and easy. But I've been hacking at this for several days now and can't seem to figure out how to draw a simple line! What happened Adobe?

Line Tool in Pixels option is a base of my workflow too. Lets hope that we'll be heard.

I was hoping this would be fixed in 22.1 update.

I also miss the line tool pixel option and have downgraded to 21.2.4. Can I/we subscribe to a service that tell us, when the fix is implemented?

PLEASE, restore the old line tool!!  It's a mess now with tiny rectangles.

I use it all the time and it's a matter of working proficiency: I'll have to go to a previous version.

You broke my workflow. I am going to cancel my subscription. I should have some old versions somewhere and they work just fine.

All the best.
