P: Photoshop 22.0: Where is Line Weight/Width and Pixels options?

I'm having trouble using the Line Tool in PS 22.0.0.

How do I set the width/weight of the line? In PS 21 there was a "Weight" option along the top bar, but I don't see that anymore. Am I missing it? Or did it move?

This might be a separate issue, but the lines I'm drawing are not showing up. I have a fill color and stroke color selected, but when I make a line, I don't see it. I just see a blue outline of where it is... the same that might happen if I made a "path" instead of a "shape."

I just need to make a line with a width/weight of 20px.

Why are you always commenting things like this? Most of us had to rely on alternatives or old PS version since this get fixed. We did not chose nor wanted to do it, we had no choice.

Cant you be more empathic with people whose workflow suffer a toll and are very expectating of a new release with this tool?

How about giving a summary to save us the time and effort of signing up for an account on something to get to your point?

For all of the folks complaining here, I suggest that you take a look at an archived session of a webcast show called the Grid, episode  415:

@ciellchan ...it really helps. I'm not an artist like you. I mostly use for technical documentation, brochures and software GUI.

But since I'm passionate about photo editing etc, I think I'll try CSP too.

Thanks!

@7248472 It really depends on what you do, I work as an illustrator and a comic colorist so Clip Studio Paint it’s been a great alternative.
I’ve been using Affinity Designer too, it’s like a PS and AI’s son as it has both vector and pixel tools. Affinity Photo it’s very similar to PS but I believe it’s thought specifically for photo editing, there are brushes and similar tools but aimed to photomanipulation and editing.

Hope it helps!

@ciellchan  Do you think Affinity suite is a viable alternative? I frenquently use PS/InDesign/Illustrator in combination....have you tested StudioLink? They say the integration is complete.

Thanks

@Stoneseeker It’s been way too much time to be honest and Adobe remain silent about this.

I understand they are trying to keep the new line but wouldn’t it be better to restore the old line and take all the time needed to find a way to make the new vector line work along with the old pixel line and not all the way around?

I thought this was going to be fixed in a matter of weeks but it’s been months now and it will probably take time until they find a way.
I bought CSP and Affinity designer/photo to use along Photoshop, both are great if you are looking for alternatives while this get fixed.

@Stoneseeker Exactly! Wouldn't you think we could just "GO BACK" to where it was what we found extremely useful?

Adobe: if you want to keep the 2-point line tool, FINE. Just call it something new, like the 'New Improved Line Dongle Tool with Path' or something, and GIVE US BACK THE OLD LINE TOOL WITH PIXELS!
