P: Photoshop 22.0: Where is Line Weight/Width and Pixels options?

I'm having trouble using the Line Tool in PS 22.0.0.

How do I set the width/weight of the line? In PS 21 there was a "Weight" option along the top bar, but I don't see that anymore. Am I missing it? Or did it move?

This might be a separate issue, but the lines I'm drawing are not showing up. I have a fill color and stroke color selected, but when I make a line, I don't see it. I just see a blue outline of where it is... the same that might happen if I made a "path" instead of a "shape."

I just need to make a line with a width/weight of 20px.

I am in v22.0.1, no stroke option under edit

From the Edit menu, there is a Stroke choice. Click on that and you will see the box that I attached... Note: It might be slightly different in different versions.

How do you get the window to pop up?

Make sure not on a background layer. Edit, Stroke, then check the appropriate box

How do I do this? "Ensure Align in the Stroke options is set to either  Center or OutsideThe stroke weight will not display if Inside alignment is selected."

I think the best solution for now is to continue to use the non-updated version of photoshop (its often still there on your system since the new update doesn't overwrite) until they update and fix this pixel line absence. I think in this case this topic is getting enough of a response where they inevitably will.

It's hard to remain civil when your questions are basically answered with a middle finger saying "It's just the way it is from now on, deal with it!"

So some of us keep hammering, hoping the dents will hold it together, because these nails they gave us are total crap!

Raising a subject to higher level of attention is a good thing, providing there is civility in the dialogue. But, it can become akin to continuing to hammer with gusto long after the nail is driven!

Not sure if it's related - but after the 21 update. I lost my line tool function. I found a fix with trial and error. You have to reselect / re-apply the stroke option. I.e. solid line etc. It works fine after that.
