P: Photoshop 27.10: "Edit in Photoshop" from Lightroom Classic & Lightroom Desktop does not load image

I am using LrC v. 15.5.1

PS 27.10.0

iMac 24” M1 chip 2021

Until today, I have been able to choose edit in Photoshop from the drop down menu when right clicking the photo I am working on.  Now when I choose that option, PS opens but the photo is not there.  

Things I have tried that did not help:

Restored preferences to their defaults

Uninstalled both LrC and PS and reinstalled both making sure to reinstall PS first

Opening the original unedited file from LrC

Things that did make a difference:

I can send a photo to Topaz and have it come back as a tiff file and it will open in PS

I can open the original file into camera raw from my computer and from the external HD

I'm having an issue with the Lightroom Classic → Photoshop 2026 workflow.

Normally, I right-click a photo in Lightroom Classic and select Edit In → Edit in Photoshop 2026, and Photoshop opens the photo with all of my Lightroom adjustments applied.

Recently, I've noticed that this stops working whenever I use Denoise in Lightroom Classic.

For example:

• Photo with normal Lightroom adjustments → Edit in Photoshop 2026 works normally
• Photo with no Lightroom adjustments → Edit in Photoshop 2026 works normally
• Photo with Lightroom adjustments + Denoise → the photo does not open properly in Photoshop

I've also tried Open as Smart Object in Photoshop, and that doesn't work either when Denoise has been applied.

Is this a known issue with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 2026, specifically with AI Denoise? Is there a setting or fix that would allow me to continue using the normal Edit in Photoshop 2026 workflow while retaining the Denoise result? This only starting happening recently. 

My current system versions:

• Adobe Classic - 15.5.1
• Camera Raw - 18.5.1
• Photoshop 2026 - 27.10.0
• Mac Mini - Tahoe 26.6.2

I have the same issue, Images do not open from raw in Bridge with Adobe Photoshop 27.10.0

Yup just got the same issue.  How do I downgrade based on the prior post.  MAC Tahoe 26.6.2 (25G83)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs. I have rebooted, I have, checked to make sure they have access. I have re-entered the external editing portion in preferences. Nothing is working. This has caused so much delay in my work delivery.

COULD YOU PLEASE ELABORATE ON THIS REPLY,  I HAVE A PROBLEM MOVING AN IMAGE FROM LR Version 9.5.1 to PS 27.10.0 on my MAC using Tahoe 26.6.2. could you also clarify the correct settings for LR. - FILE -- EDIT IN PS --EDIT IN PS SETTINGS

I have the most current versions of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. When I select ‘edit in Photoshop 2026’ Photoshop launches but the image doesn’t open in Photoshop.
