P: Photoshop 27 neural filter skin smoothing We've temporarily disable this feature because of error

Tried to use this feature today (worked fin in previous version of PS) and today, after upgrading to ver 27, I get the "We've temporarily disable this feature because of an error" message. Of course I don't know what that error is, but pretty sure it's an error.

    Issue Summary:
    Neural Filters: We’ve temporarily disabled this filter due to an error
    Regardless of which filter is selected, the Neural Filter selected immediately throws and generic error message stating it has been disabled due to an error when activated. This issue persists across all recent releases in the v27 tree (tested up to v27.8), but works flawlessly when rolling back to v27.3.1 or earlier.
    Through strict binary search isolation testing, I have mapped out the exact version where this runtime regression is introduced.
    Testing Methodology & Isolation Steps:
    To eliminate any outside environmental variables, all installations were performed via the Creative Cloud Desktop application with "Remove older versions" UNCHECKED and "Import previous settings and preferences" UNCHECKED. Every version was tested as a completely clean runtime environment.
    • v26.5: Works flawlessly 
    • v27.0: Works flawlessly 
    • v27.2: Works flawlessly 
    • v27.3: Works flawlessly 
    • v27.3.1 (Hotfix Build): Works flawlessly 
    • v27.4: FAILS IMMEDIATELY  (First instance of the regression)
    • v27.8: Fails immediately 
    Successive Upgrade Test:
    To verify that this was not a "cumulative version jump" installer glitch, a successive step-by-step upgrade path was tested directly from 27.0 → 27.1 → 27.2 → 27.3 → 27.3.1 → 27.4. The application ran perfectly until the exact moment it was upgraded to v27.4, where the local AI processing engine immediately failed. Downgrading back down the tree instantly restores neural functionality without touching local AppData or plugin directories.
    Conclusion:
    Because the identical local AppData cache and hardware configurations process filters perfectly in v27.3.1, this is a verified code regression introduced natively in the v27.4 application framework. It appears to be an architectural change in how local machine learning models validate or dispatch tasks to specific hardware/OS configurations.
    I am currently locked to v27.3.1 as my permanent production build to avoid this bug.

      Yeah, I’m sick of this error. It used to be good for fixing eyes even if it did get the colour wrong sometimes, but it hasn’t worked in a bout a year for me.

      4 years later, same issue still exists… running an rtx5090 here with the latest drivers… Same issue.

        They will not do anything about it even if their plan is overpriced. I seggest we use Afnity by canva since it free and 90 percent like photoshop. This is my last subscription, I think I will consider crack or affinity

          I would download it from the Microsoft Store, I got a warning from my computer. You’re given, I think, four options from Canva, none of which made sense other than I assume they were asking if I had Windows personal or business. I’ve never heard of Affinity so I deleted it straight away when I got the warning.

            Today (Nov 20th) the same error message in PS 27.1 (Neural Filters, Skin Smoothing). Works fine in version PS 26.11.2.
