P: Photoshop CC 19.1 - UI doubled in size (Win 10)

Hello. My entire Photoshop layout has doubled in size with this new update; it looks like it's in Windows Safe Mode. Is there a way to fix this? I am currently uninstalling and re-downloading the previous version because my eyes were melting from the bloated interface.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop CC 2018 (19.1) update now available.

I tried it too and it didn't work. Yes I'm running Windows 10 CE. I tried many things. The only solution that worked for me was re-installing version 9.0.0 but I'm missing out on the new features.

Yes, that's correct. And I also checked on my desktop, also running Win 10 Creator's Edition. I have the problem there. I think it might be related to the fact that the standard (factory default) Windows scaling on these computers is 125% in combination with the fact that UI scaling in the new version of Photoshop is not responsive on my computers (and it was in the previous versions).

So just to verify, you're currently running Win 10 Creator's Edition?

Hi Hannah, Thanks for the fast reply.

I tried that (I tried many things, I even tried using the old Windows 8.1 DPI scaling on my Windows 10 Creator’s Edition) but it doesn't have any effect, unfortunately.

Hi Benny & Martin,

Thanks for the feedback. If you go to the Photoshop.exe file, right click and from that menu choose Properties > Compatibility - can you see if Override DPI Scaling is checked? If it is, uncheck it and see if that makes your UI better.

Here's a link with info on this issue https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/high-dpi-scaling.html

Thank you,
Hannah

Same problem here. Good to hear I am not the only one with this problem. I will try and see how it looks on my other PC...
