P: Photoshop CC 19.1 - UI doubled in size (Win 10)

Hello. My entire Photoshop layout has doubled in size with this new update; it looks like it's in Windows Safe Mode. Is there a way to fix this? I am currently uninstalling and re-downloading the previous version because my eyes were melting from the bloated interface.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop CC 2018 (19.1) update now available.

I'm came back to this thread this morning and saw the official response. I downloaded the new version and I still have huge blocks of tools. The suggestions did not help. You guys should run independently with scaling.

I am, again, reinstalling version 19.0 until this is fixed.

having the same issue on my dell XPS 13", photoshop UI is too big on the 1920x1080px 13" screen... the windows scaling -as said before- doens't work since it scales the whole OS down.

pretty annoying indeed. hope a fix will be ready soon....

rolling back to older PS version, see what it'll do for the UI...

Richard you are totally right. I have been saying this since I joined the group. Why on earth we have to go to windows display to sort it out is beyond me. Photoshop should be totally independent to any other . I mentioned this to Adobe back last year at the NEC Birmingham Photography Show and had simply no answer.

Yes, that's the problem, although on my laptop the UI looks too big while the rest is OK and if Photoshop is OK, the rest is too small. And that in-Photoshop UI scaling that you suggested is exactly what I also would like to see.

And I also see all kinds of additional flaws in the UI with the new scaling. I already indicated a few things, but here another one. What's that? Problems like these are not always there, but can just appear when you change your workspace.

Guys, just to make sure we are on the same page, are you seeing the same as me?

Google Chrome has the possibility to 'zoom'. Could you not make something like this for the Photoshop interface? I mean, next to the scaling that Microsoft envisions, you could add additional UI scaling to Photoshop. Partly, you have done that already with the options that Hannah suggested.

Moreover: I was called by your colleague and he told me that indeed the scaling that's in Photoshop 19.1 running Windows Creators edition is how Microsoft envisions all apps to support scaling. But he also said that if enough people would like to see the option to downscale the Photoshop UI, that could be done. So I am a bit confused now: your answer implies that nothing will be done on the UI scaling and that we have to accept how it is now. Is that correct?
