[WARN] WGudeRequest::applyAutoDetectProxyAutoConfigSettings Failed to autodetect proxy settings. WinHTTP Unable To Download Script. last error code = 12167

Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und kann mir helfen? Vielen Dank.

How is this still a thing, this bug has been around for so long, in the most well known product Adobe has to offer. And still they don't care, no answer, no update, nothing since effing May 2022! At least talk to your customers if you won't or can't fix this bug!

Most likely, the problem is in the Adobe network connections, and not in the program code. It is quite possible that the work will return to normal even without updating the program.
So far I'm using manual search the Everything program with indexing and deleting GUDE files.

This worked for me, too. Until Adobe comes up with a real fix, at least it saves the trouble of having to manually remove GUDE files each time they appear.

I wouldn't say its broken, Photoshop still opens the file correctly. You are just getting an unwanted log file left behind. I realize that this is annoying but there is no data loss, opening files still works, and there is a simple way to avoid the problem.

I just noticed this happening when I double-clicked to open a PNG or JPG on my desktop. I haven't checked other folders.

I was using Photoshop 24.1.1.  I rolled back to version 24.1, and tried again but still got the file. Rather than try every version under 24, I rolled back to 23.5.4, and that fixed it.

@Lumigraphics clarify : that's a workaround, not a solution. Adobe have broken the most basic functionality of windows here - double-click a file to open its associated program.

The solution is to NOT double-click files to launch Photoshop. Launch Photoshop first and then open files as needed.

I have the same problem... 24.1.1 version of Photoshop. January 23rd of 2023. I'm not seeing any working solution, even band-aid solutions like changing proxy settings don't work. This also makes synchronizing with Creative Cloud troublesome. I've had this problem since last month.

Hi Kevin, I am also experiencing this issue. Your link goes back to the beginning of this thread, and I don't see a solution. I can't work through the April 2022 solutions post because I am on the current version of Photoshop, which appears to have differences in the Preferences panel.

The worst about this bug for me is that when the files are located in the cloud folder for whatever reason many times the log file can't be synced. I'm getting a sync error notice with a ping every few seconds. I have to turn down the sound, which means I can't listen to music or other audio.

It just came to my attention again that @J453 wrote Mav 13, 2022 that this is being investigated by engineering. What have they done all those months?
