[WARN] WGudeRequest::applyAutoDetectProxyAutoConfigSettings Failed to autodetect proxy settings. WinHTTP Unable To Download Script. last error code = 12167

Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und kann mir helfen? Vielen Dank.

People keep reporting it but the new posts keep getting merged with this one so they all get lost in the noise.

Hey All,

this seems to go around and around.

Here are my thoughts - compiled.

• First - .gude file are a useless nuicense, but not really a serious problem, annoying yes, but not disrupting my workflow.

• However, is it just me, but many do NOT mention that it only happens when opening a PS file from Windows Explorer

(double clicking/no need to go "Opene With" since PS files open always in Photoshop) (haven't checked e.g. JPGs and     "Open With" Photoshop.)

When opening the same file from Bridge = NO gude file! (So, is it an Adobe or Windows issue?)

• Workarounds, like changing or turning things off in Preferrences = fixing something by diminishing something else is not a solution.

• Please, someone forward the issue to Adobe Team to fix it. It only occured lately / latest update (to my knowledge)

Thanks

+1  here on v24.1.0

This occurred on prior versions and was solved. I have reset preferences, no effect. Turning off grahics accel is a workaround, not a fix. I am confused how this egregious error can remain unsolved, and litter my filesystem and cloud storage with garbage txt files.

Same here, started with the latest update here.
After deleting the prefs I got this Screen:

It says MS Edge has no reading and writing priviliges on this folder

Having this issue for the last month.   I've tried all the suggestions.  Can you please just fix the bug?

My workaround onkybkasted one day. Today I'm back to getting the gude files.

Definitely a bug

Here is what I know so far:

Turning off GPU makes NO difference and I would not want that anyways. It's just a bandaid diminishing somehting else.

I only experience the problem (rather nuisance) when opening a file in photoshop from Windows explorer. Opening from Bridge = no problem ... that's what I do anyways.

So - is this a Windows problem or Adobe?

Cheers

Turning off GPU support makes no difference for me.
