P: Photoshop creates a gude log while working with files

That an international company like Adobe fails so radically in troubleshooting is astonishing and very nonchalant towards your customers.

Ich fühle mich irgendwie betrogen, was Adobe hier bietet könnte sich keine andere Firma leisten.

@Rob Ainscough  Has 24.2 been released? Isn't the current latest version 24.1.1? Was I mistaken?

24.2 still an issue ... so sad your developers can't figure this out, they're obviously just in guess mode now ... contact me if you want me to show them how to setup remote debugging tools as they clearly seem clueless.

Problem still persist with latest updates ... this issue has now reached a level of unprofessionalism that is frankly astonishing.  I'm a software engineer going back to DOS days thru to today's .NET 7, Angular, Blazor, etc. and I've never seen a company with so many developer resources fail so miserably.  I'm lost for word given how long this problem has persisted

No it is not !

@LHClub No it hasn't. Hacks, workarounds and all the other hoops everyone is suggesting we jump through are not a solution to a fundamental issue. Adobe broke the basics of how windows works. You don't need or expect locked, junk files to be created when you double-click a file to open the associated application. Until Adobe fix it, it's not "solved".
