P: Photoshop creates a gude log while working with files

Please note that 24.2 is not fully rolled out. It's not available to me yet (in the United States) to confirm if this issue is fixed or not. I see that 24.2 is listed as the latest Photoshop version here. If you can confirm you are running 24.2, let us know if it is fixed and where you are (generally) located. Meanwhile, I've asked Adobe for some clarification, so we don't continue to speculate.

Don't panic, neither have I in the UK. I'm sure it will come when it's ready. 

I realize this is a known bug and is being fixed, but I thought I'd provide my information in case it helps things:

On Photoshop 24.1.1 (most recent as of posting date), whenever I open 3rd-party PSD files the following GUDE log file is generated in its driectory:

Nothing fails and PS still works fine as far as I can tell.

I've updated my GPU drivers, unticked Enable Generate in plugins, and I have a new PC so my photoshop settings should already be on default. I've also tried rolling back one version.

Nothing helps me to use Free Transform.

As of 02-12-2023  Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.1.1 20230112.r.238 4bbfa7a x64 STILL does this.

Can you  not read? As per Jane's message 10 Feb "When there is a fix, Adobe staff will announce it in this thread and it will be marked correct. In the interim, use one of the workarounds that have been mentioned."
