    Having same exact issue, along with the home menu being in the background after opening document. I posted another thread about this around same time as you.

    When opening documents in the newest version of Photoshop (22.5 as of this writing) documents open with Home menu still in background. Zooming document causes infinite mirror effect. (Please see picture below)
