P: Please make the "Rasterize EPS Format" dialogue box remember the last used settings

Please, Please, Please make the "Rasterize EPS Format" dialogue box remember the last used settings. CS3 did this, then CS4 didn't. I was hoping CS5 would have rectified this issue. This would save me LOTS of time. Thanks.

Sorry. This was an unintended side effect of Chris's fix for an issue with EPS wrt Actions and Batch. I have a bug logged for this to be fixed.

and now it's broken again. 😕😕
Why Adobe, why?.... you are effing up a whole company with this behaviour.
As with the latest update, Phoshop always opens EPS in RGB mode, it doesn't remeber the setting anymore.  Please provide a patch for this, or roll out an update asap.
Seriously - you've stopped a whole department, because the automation won't work anymore. We have work to do, and meet clients needs.

Photshop should never - i repeat -NEVER switch back to default values. People enter their desired values for a good reason.
It took over a year the last time, to get this fixed. Please be faster now, and make Photshop behave the way it always did before CC - and the way it always should. It should be customizable in every aspect, and not lead to business disruptions with every new update.

I hope Chris Cox is still working at Adobe, because when he stepped in, this was fixed.

Illustrator picks up some settings from a couple of obscure dialogs (confuses me, and I use it relatively often). But I think you'll like the changes we're testing for EPS rasterization.

Thank you for looking into it.

You said - Photoshop respects the values in the EPS file. How can i save an EPS in Illustrator CC with 200dpi in grayscale. I ́ve searched all the Settings i could find - but wasn ́t able to export the file in that given format.

There are no such registry values.

Yes, this is somewhat debatable about saving the values since every EPS file is different and Photoshop should first honor the values in the file (the file does specify a color mode, size, and sometimes a resolution).

But, the dialog did remember things (sort of) back in Photoshop CS3 and previous when the EPS rasterization was done in a plugin. When the code moved into the application, something was lost. So we'll take a look and see what we can do.
