P: Remove Tool Not Working Update 24.6

i included model  sys info but the image may be covering it for above car image

imac intel 27 5k

sonoma 14.5

psp 25.7 (mac)

similar things happen using several tools trying to remove / lighten / blur the background shadow from the image. many features; photoshop is not working very well at all. sonoma has many bugs too. so it's a reall flusterfest between the two and adobe cc apps.

I use Photoshop v25.4 under Windows 11. I have implemented all the tips here, but the error message "initialization failed, restart Photoshop" remains. Please help.

Hello, I've just updated to v25.3.1, but still getting the sae issue. I'm getting this issue only on Windows 10, my Mac is fine.

Hello, I am using the latest version of PS. On my mini PC with AMD Ryzen 9 and GPU Radeon 780M (all drivers up to date), when using the removal tool, the following error message appears: "The operation could not be performed because a program error occurred." Adobe's help page doesn't help here, and I also set the removal tool to "stable" in the preferences. Disabling the GPU doesn't help either. Can one of you maybe help me? The same error also occurs in the beta version. Otherwise everything runs perfectly. Greetings Rainer

@Radek32421632jkyr what version of Photoshop are you running? I would at least update to Mac OS Ventura.

I had the same problem on my mac studio M1max 32gbram.

Maybe its problem with old Monterey OS on it.

But more stable option works great.
