P: Resizing Photo goes black / corrupted in MacOS 10.11 El Capitan

I use Photoshop CC. When I try to upsize a photo, it goes black since installing El Capitan on my Mac. Downsizing photos works fine. Is this a bug?

Today, after resizing an image from around 600 x 600px to 1000 x 1000px, the entire image went black. One time it even created weird little white artifacts as well. (see: http://imgur.com/a/hl2sG)

Great, with this plugin and OpenCL turned off it works! Thanks!

Yep, as Savash mentioned above, disable the OpenCL option in Preferences.

See last post here from Chris Cox at Adobe: https://forums.adobe.com/message/8042...

(I've added a screen shot -- see below -- for where to do this in case anyone isn't sure... basically it's under Preferences -> Performance, then look at the far right side of the window and click the Advanced Settings button.)

This is an issue with certain GPUs (maybe Nvidias?). I don't have the issue on my late 2011 MacBook Pro (non-Retina screen, AMD Radeon HD 6770M), which is why my OpenCL button is still checked. Just disable that one on your end until the fix. :)

If I bring in a fairly low resolution image in and attempt to change the image size CMD + Option + I ... and I set resolution to 300 and the width height to a minimum of 1000px... the entire image turns black. I recently updated to El Capitan and this began happening after that. I use this method to give images similar drop shadows.

for example,

i resize a 10x20cm (300dpi) to a 12x....
then the picture is all black !!
