P: Saving copy not saving over jpg file

working on Catalina OS. saving file extension works now but does not save over jpg when saving it creates a copy which is annoying and time consuming to fix

Which is why this "bug-reporting" forum is a pathetic joke and an insult to paying customers, who've been told that Adobe's software-rental scam was going to fund timely bug fixes.

Once that issue is "passed along" to the engineers who are "working towards a fix" I'm sure the engineer who has been "working towards a fix" for the last year will get a little chuckle while rolling his eyes.

Expected unofficial response: "Maybe when we optimize Photoshop for Big Sur, or maybe in PS 22.1.2" And that would be a big "Maybe" Right now it is just too hard to code. We can't afford to throw engineers at such a trivial issue for just a few old school users.

There must be dozens of us. DOZENS!

I also followed-up in that tweet thread. Can't believe it takes just a couple tweets to get an acknowledgement. Nothing to say for over a year to the hundreds of people posting here. Nooo, not until it's out there in the public it seems.
