P: Saving copy not saving over jpg file

working on Catalina OS. saving file extension works now but does not save over jpg when saving it creates a copy which is annoying and time consuming to fix

    Nope. I'm running Photshop 21.2.0 and Cataling 10.15.5 and I'm still having the issue, including .png files. JUST LET ME UNCHECK THE FREAKING SAVE A COPY BOX.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA nope, sure wasn't. Running 21.2.0 and it's STILL wrong.

    Hi,
    I just updated Photoshop and Catalina to 10.15.5, and finally I can overwrite jpg files without making a copy. Anyone else got this fixed.

    I cannot believe it's still happening. It's getting ridiculous. It seems like there's a new revolutionary version of the software (updated today) but this bloody bug is still there. Is anyone from Adobe even listening to those comments?
