P: Select and Mask Workspace preview selection tools

I'm having the same issues. Refine Edge is not previewing my work with in the space. 

I have the same issue, downgrading to 22.3.1 seems to solve the issue.

Adobe reported a bug and that they are working hard to fix it. Now we need to keep fingers crossed that they will fix it asap.

I am having the same issue. When I enter Select and Mask I cannot see my brush strokes in onion skin until I accept the changes. Windows 10 v 22.4.1

Check-in from the Windows folks. We seem to have this issue as well.

Hi, I have the same problem in version 2021-22.4.1, Windows 10. I make a selection, create layer mask and open Select and Mask via the button in Properties, then I can´t use the tools in Select and Mask for all views (not working for Onion skin, On Black, On White, On Layers). 

Edit: If I go back to version 22.23 it works fine.

I'm having a similar problem in Photoshop 22.24.1

If I have an existing mask, I cannot use the Select and Mask tool correctly. If i keep in only on "Black and White" view it works, but changing to any other view does not show the effects of the sliders.

If I accept the changes, they will take effect, but I don't have any idea what they're doing, as I can only preview in Black and White view in the tool.

If I hold shift and use the legacy tool from the top menus, that works as it always had. This issue only happened when I installed the 2021 version of Photoshop.

OS 10.14.6, with an 8GB Metal graphics card, 64GB of RAM, and dedicated scratch disk. Both the OS and Photoshop are on the latest release.

Dave is correct. Same problem on my Win 10 system.

@dramenon  Deactivate Native Canvas and restarting does not resolve this.

However to be clear so the issue can be replicated :

Entering select and mask without a selection works OK.

Entering select and mask from a selection works OK.

Entering select and mask from a layer mask, by double clicking, results in specific previews not working i.e onion skin, on black on white

The OP reported using a Mac - I use Windows 10.
