P: Shake Reduction crashes

I have two 16gb RAM computers, and on each using Photoshop CC 2019 with the .01 update, when using Shake Reduction in Sharpening, it inevitably seizes up then crashes the program. In addition, when I am asked to file a report, my email address is always reported as wrong when it is the same one Adobe uses to reach me.

I met Topaz Labs Ai deshake thanks to Adobe Ps about two years ago. is this problem still unsolved ??? 😲🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

Hi Joel, yes I'm having an issue with it. I'm running Photoshop 2021 (version 22.3) and when I try to apply the shake reduction filter to a photo, the dialgoue box opens and then Photoshop immediately crashes. I've tried using the feature on a couple files and the same issue occurs.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm running Photoshop 2021 (version 22.3), the most recent update, and when I apply the Shake Reduction filter to any photo (I've tried multiple files), Photoshop crashes. I get as far as seeing the shake reduction dialogue box for a few seconds until it crashes.

When applying shake reduction, and monitoring with the windows 10 task manager, cpu usage is close to 100% and GPU usage is 0%.

This might help explain why trying to run shake reduction is non responsive, and locks out other applications from running at the same time. Any updates?

Hi again, I'm not on a Mac, but I thought that I should have another look at what version I had. I did try to update Ps, but it ignored me. Funny things seem to be happening with my computer just now and the internet is at a crawl. I just love computers!

If your on a Mac, the Dock link often does not update. Check Application folder, and launch Photoshop 2020 manually, then add to Dock yourself. For Photoshop 2020, it shuld be launching with image of girl looking out a window. That's 2020.

Simply install 2020 and all your problems will go away. I hated 2018 and 2019, but have to say that 2020 is stable on my Win 10 system.

I would like to add that for the past few days Ps crashes whenever I try to run Shake Reduction. It usually collapses while rendering the fine image. I have sent crash reports about 5 times. Everything should be uptodate including my graphics drivers. Here is a copy of my system info:
