When I use the generative fill to add detail to an image I get the error "We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request at this time.  Thank you for your patience. Please try again later. "

The error has persisted since last week.  I have tried severals to use it.  I have updated and reverted to old versions trying to fix this problem to no avail. As of right it now it causing a work stoppage.

Thanks,

Lisa Noble

Hi, man! I just got the same issue and I found a sollution that worked for me - Press Windows Button (I don't know what that is for Mac), then Typo Windows Defender - Then press Turn windows defender firewall on or off - And then switch it off. It worked for me. The bad thing is if you want to keep your Windows defender on. Probably it you do some exeption in the firewall settings, it could work too. Good luck!

I am using a Mac Studio with the Ultra M1 platform and Mac OS Monterey 12.6. I'm not sure that this matters to the problem however. If anything, this hardware should assure very efficient performance.

Thank you for your response.  I will check in with the helpdesk.  May I ask are you on a MAC or a Windows machine?

I have had this issue as well, but it never lasted as long as you report. Generative fill is using Adobe resources fed through the Internet, so I have always assumed such problems arise from image generation or Internet issues somewhere along the chain between Adobe's data banks, servers and my computer. It would be best to raise the matter to Adobe tech support.
