2025.2.3 didn't work for my team, we had to revert to 2025.1, which worked better.
Team of three editors, we've been working on our project for a month in 2025.1. We are using Productions.
We all updated to 2025.2.3 this morning, but all quickly had to revert to 2025.1 because the performance was significantly worse in the newer version.
Specifics of the project: DNxHD 116 codec in MXF wrapper. All media and projects on LucidLink. I have 1Gb symmetric fiber. Lucid performance has been great, and stable.
I uninstalled 2025.1 from within Creative Cloud app, then installed 2025.2.3. I deleted my entire media cache, and rebooted my system (M1 Mac Studio, macOS 15.4.1). I then allowed Premiere & LucidLink to rebuild their local cache.
Expected behaviour: better performance
Actual behaviour: timeline response for all three of us was much, much worse - hitting space bar gave a 5 sec lag before playback commenced, it was only about 2 secs in 2025.1. Also, many many crashes, every few minutes, sometimes from scrubbing a clip in the Source monitor, sometimes nothing more than switching back to Premiere usng the App Switcer from Mail.app.
