26..0 Text disappears

Thank you for reporting a problem. We need a few more details to help like hardware information, please see How to Report a Problem.

Which font are you seeing this with (or are you seeing this with several different fonts)? 

Are any specific character inputs triggering the behavior and is the text bounding box still visible and clickable/resizable? 

Under the Properties panel > Text Properties (wrench icon) > Text Styling, do you have "Hindi Digits" and "Ligatures" selected, and can you try deselecting them if so?
