Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 Randomly Shuts Down My PC (64GB RAM)

Hi everyone,

I'm having a serious issue with Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. Every time I use it, my PC randomly shuts down without warning. No error message, no freezing—just a full shutdown as if the power was cut.

My system specs:

64GB RAM

Intel high-end CPU i7

RTX graphics card

Plenty of storage and proper cooling

I've checked temps, drivers, and power supply—everything seems normal. No issues with other software or earlier Premiere versions. It only happens with Premiere Pro 2025.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on what might be causing it?

Yes, thanks. Why do you suspect the Intel video driver?

For my 12th gen, the current intel driver is: 32.0.101.6739, I have 6734 installed.

I have the Nvidia driver 32.0.15.7602

You can see this from Device manager/Display adapters

The specs of my system

Model: Dell Alienware m15 r6
Processor: Intel CPU i7 Gen 11
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU
Driver Display: Intel UHD Graphics (This one might be the causing this problem)
Storage: 2Tbs
OS: Windows 11, version 24H2
Adobe Premiere Pro version: 25.2.3 Build 4

Yes, better to have actual specs, rather than 'high-end', so numbers to go along with it, including the actual PP version from the HELP/About screen.

I'm currently using Windows 11, version 24H2. While working in Premiere Pro 2025, my computer shuts down completely after some time during editing.

This issue only occurs with Premiere Pro; all other Adobe Creative Cloud applications are working fine without any problems.

Do you need feedback on the type of GPU I use?

Which version of Windows are you using? And is the entire computer crashing and shutting down completely?
