Bin scrolling with custom metadata columns

encountering really bad scrolling performance in bins when using any custom metadata field(s) (the ones that have the black background and look like a text box). The second you scroll horizontally and encounter one, your ability to scroll grinds to a complete halt as the interface struggles to redraw the boxes and populate the data. 

This is on 25.1.0 on Windows 10.
