Box appearing on subtitles upon export

What is this box that keeps appearing on my subtitles?? it doesn't appear at all in Premiere but appears once I've exported my file. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it at all.

    I don't recall anyone else reporting this. Answers to @Dani_V.'s questions would be helpful.

     

    If you turn off the stroke, does not make any difference? (My guess is no.)

    Hi @Robbie34135385e7mh,

    Sorry for the frustration. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report?

    Are you exporting through Premiere Pro or Adobe Media Encoder? Is this an actual caption track or text on a graphics layer? Is it happening throughout the video or just in one specific caption?

    Can you check the Graphics section under the Properties and Text panel and make sure there isn't a hidden shape or text layer? And does this show up if you try changing the font?

    Screenshots of project and export settings can be helpful too.
