Copy-pasting a clip in a collapsed timeline won't work

This has been a bug in Premiere for years (for Mac at least).

The majority of the time, if my timeline is as thin as it can be vertically (visually), when I copy a clip I cannot paste it. Not sure if the clip gets copied at all, but I select it in the timeline, press ⌘-C, go to another timeline/further in the same timeline, press ⌘-P, and nothing happens.

If I expand the timeline to take up more vertical space with ⌘-mouse scroll, now I can copy-paste clips.
