Created Keyboard Shortcuts for Zooming In and Out of Program Monitor Not Working

I'm working on Premiere Pro 24.4.1 on a Mac.  I created shortcuts (or at least I tried) to be able to zoom in on the Program Monitor.  Control+Z to zoom in, Control+X to zoom out, and Control+F to fit.   They are listed.  They are visable.  Control+F works, but the zoom and and zoom out do not.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks!

I tested in Release 24.6.0 and Beta 25.0.0.29. Not fixed.

All 3 Program Monitor zoom options are unassigned by default. I assigned:

Zoom In: Ctrl+H

Zoom Out: Ctrl+Y

Zoom to Fit: Ctrl+P (I think in 24.5 this was assigned by default)

The results are the same as my description in this thread. Fit works. Zoom in or out will only work once to zoom to 70-80ish% and then does nothing.

Hello @imgaryshap74@GrahamWillcox, @빵빵띠끼야, @MitchJCW, @MrRoodyHadley, @Jon.M. and @RodBalseca,

I was reviewing this case and wondered if the 24.6 release fixed the issue. Can you let me know? I sure hope so!

Thanks,
Kevin

same, custom shortcuts for program monitor panel zoom in/out do not work. Yet "zoom to fit" custom keyboard shortcut does. Yet one may assume this has to do with the new zoom and pan features (which  you will like once, at least with a 3-button scroll mouse, try it our) outlined here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-beta-discussions/now-in-beta-continuous-zoom-and-pan-now-available-in-premiere-pro/td-p/14511018

@MitchJCW,

I have not installed 24.5 yet. In the Beta, so perhaps in 24.5, Properties is no longer available in the context menu of the timeline:

Just found another bug. Media file properties shortcut key won't work on the timeline but works on the project panel.

PPRO 24.5.0 Build 57 does not fix this issue on our facility machines (Mac Pro 2019, OS 14.5)

Having the same issue as well with the 24.4 update and the latest 24.5 . Can't zoom in and can only zoom out 1% on program monitor. fit to monitor works fine though. Tried resetting app and change shortcut keys and still not working. The only way to zoom in and out now is by using the mouse scroller .

Not fixed in Beta 24.6.0.23.

I see that there is a (new?) unassigned shortcut for the Program Monitor Panel for Zoom In and Zoom Out. But when assigned, both will only zoom out to 80-some percent and then do nothing. True for both 24.4.1 and Beta.

Ctl+P works for fit, but is unassigned by default in the current Beta. You can assign it and it works again.

Same issue. Anxiously awaiting an update!
