Editing camera label in metadata causes crash

Hey all,

While logging footage for a large multicamera series project I'm trying to assign a camera label to each camera inside the metadata windown in order to create a timecode synced multicam stringout. (Screen shot below) I'm currently on premiere version 25.3.0 (Build 84) running on windows 11. When I try to asign a camera labe in batches (usually more than 10 clips at a time, sometimes even 3-5 clips) it causes premiere to crash. This is something I have done in the past in bulk of up to 100 clips with out crashing. The project I work on can have anywhere between 2-5 cameras per episode and give or take 60-100 clips per camera so it is a lot of footage and would love to be able to assign labels in bulk to move quicker.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi @IanB_360

Its in a production enviorment, I work at a TV station and use their production edit bays. It's not a team project just local to the edit bay. Ill report the problem through the link provided. Thanks!

Hi @Jacob283252172kxe

Welcome to the Premiere Pro Forum community. Is this an issue you are seeing in a project, production, or team project? I am working with a user who has experienced a system crash while editing metadata in a production environment. Although the issues are not directly related, I will investigate.
It would help us if you could use the link here, How to Report a Problem, which has steps to provide more information that can help us identify the issue.

Here to help.

Is this reproducible crash?
When it crashed, did you get a dialog coming up and asking you to submit crash report?
Make sure to always submit those crash reports.

Latest version if 25.6.3
Try this again in 25.6.3 to see if you can still reproduce this issue.
If you do, please add comment describing the issue and include your email so we can find your crash report.
Somtimes it is hard to find crashes by email, so try adding something uniqe to the comment of your bug like Jacob283252172kxe which makes it easier to search and find your specific issue.
