Export Tab reflects Project bin selection, not active Timeline

This just changed in the most recent update to Premiere 24.6.1 (Build 1).  Normally, if the timeline is the active window, and then you click on the "Export" tab in the upper left next to "Import" and "Edit", it knows you want to export the active timeline.  Right now, it selects whatever clip or sequence you have selected in the Project bin.  So clearly, this is not intuitive and should be reverted back to the way it used to be.

I have this bug too. Really catches you out. Even selects it if the project tab isn't the one selected in the window.
will run more tests outside of time critical edit time but it's definitely behaving in a different way than before. Haven't tried the export option from the file menu so will update when I've had a chance to try that.

@videomc74

I see what you mean, but it hasn't changed. I just compared 24.6.1 to PR 23.6.9.

I had never looked at this before, because I just kept using Ctrl+M!

It picks whatever panel is active. If the focus is on the timeline, it will use the currently select sequence there. If the focus is on the Project Panel, it will pick the sequence or file that is selected.
