Font Case Display Bug in Premiere Pro on Project Reload

Hi Adobe Team,

I’m encountering a recurring issue in Premiere Pro related to font rendering. Upon reloading a project, certain text layers that are set in ALL CAPS display incorrectly—with inconsistent capitalization (see attached screenshot). This occurs even when:

  • The ALL CAPS formatting toggle is enabled or disabled in the Essential Graphics panel.

  • The original font style was correctly saved and previewed before closing the project.

It seems Premiere is misinterpreting the character casing upon reloading, despite the font settings not being altered. This affects the appearance of animated titles and static text, making the text look broken or unprofessional.

Would love to know if there's a workaround or if this is a known bug that’s being addressed.

Hi @middlekid,

Thanks for reporting, this is a known issue and there is a speculative fix available in the beta. Could you give it a try and let us know if it working as you expect?

Thanks,

Theresa

@middlekid,

Thanks; that is helpful. Is the problem only occurring in the mogrt, or in text you enter with the text tool as well?

Is the mogrt one you made or from another source?

Hi Stan,

This is Premiere 2025 25.2.1
I am using a mogrt and the option is applied to the entire text. When I switch font or font weight it works but when I go back to the same font and weight I get this error. This also happened with graphics as well.

@middlekid,

That is very strange.

What version of PR?

Are you applying per character? per layer?

Is this a  mogrt?

Graphics text, not captions workflow, right?
