Essentially whenever I minimize premiere pro and bring it back up my program monitor goes full screen for a couple seconds before returning to normal and allowing me to see the whole program again. I have no idea what could be causing this. I have attached a video showcasing the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi @intelligent_Serenade5885 - What are your Computer and GPU Specs?

Adobe recommends using the "Studio" driver version when working in Premiere Pro.

Sure thing

  • Issue –  Whenever I minimize premiere pro and bring it back up my program monitor goes full screen for a couple seconds before returning to normal and allowing me to see the whole program again.
  • Steps to reproduce –
  1. Minimize premiere pro
  2. Reopen premiere pro from the task bar or alt tab back into the program
  • Expected result – Program should reopen as normal
  • Actual result – Program monitor is fullscreen for a couple seconds before revealing the whole program again
  • Screen recording – https://youtu.be/4FrVGP8cELU
  • Adobe Premiere Pro version – Premiere Pro 25.5.0 Build 13
  • Operating system – Windows 11 Home Version 24H2 OS build 26100.6899
  • GPU driver version (Windows only) - Geforce Game Ready Driver Version 581.57
  • Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs:
    • It affects all new and previous projects
    • First noticed the issue on version 25.2 and it occurs on the latest version 25.5.0 Build 13
