If it suddenly stopped working then o do not think the projects themselves are the problem. It is like premiere is not generating or displaying the audio waveforms. try creating a brand new project and import a simple MP3 or WAV file. If that also shows no waveform then you have ruled out the media. Also check Sequence then Render Audio and let Premiere sit for a few minutes to see if the waveform eventually appears.

Also reset Premiere preferences (hold Alt while launching Premiere on Windows or Option on Mac). I have had odd timeline issues disappear after doing that.

I traid again and now it works. What was the problem?

    Hi @Abril

It’s possible Premiere had not finished processing the Audio in the Progress Panel until now. Glad the issue has resolved.

    Hello @Abril

Welcome to the Adobe Premiere Forums. We need a little more information to help us identify the issue. Please see How to Write a Bug Report for our preferred format.

I’m also wondering if show waveforms may have inadvertently been turned off. You can double check the wrench icon on the Timeline to see if Audio Wavforms is checked.

Timeline Display Settings is the small wrench icon
    Show Audio Waveforms checked

We also have Dynamic waveforms, so if the sound in your audiofiles is very quiet, it may just be that the waveforms are very small.

    Hope we can help,

    Amy
