Lag problem! Excellent computer

"Hello, I need some help, please! My computer is really good, it has great performance, but I'm having an issue where the video lags only in the Program Monitor and when I move it to the Timeline. For example, when I zoom in, everything runs smoothly and works perfectly. Even when I export the video, it plays normally. It's just in the Program Monitor and on the Timeline that it lags. I also have an example I can show you directly – https://youtu.be/vfl5leYYSd4

Please help! Thank you all!

We're all curious what your 'Excellent computer' consists of... please let us know.

And also info on your clips. You can use the free MediaInfo program to get info on your clips. Get the program from the link below and using the 'Tree' view post a screenshot of your clip info: https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download

For troubleshooting, terminology matters. "RAW" in not just the original video file, it is a very specific form of encoded data, not completely processed to an actual video file yet.

So do you mean any kind of say mov/mp4, or ProRes file? DNx? What?

What framesize & framerate? These things all have an effect. Like the computer hardware, which is incredibly important as depending on even which similar sounding CPU your computer has, it could have very different performance expectations.

So we are not asking out of mean-ness, but because we need to know.

Try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn't work, please help us help you:

The problem is that this happens with every video, even when everything is raw, without any effects. Even when I export such a raw video and play it through a media player, everything runs smoothly with no lag. The issue only occurs when I play the video in Premiere, either through the Source Monitor or on the Timeline. It's exactly like in the link I sent, where the problem can be seen.

Does your video include the hardware data of your OS, CPU/GPU, RAM, the details of the media in use, plus any effects used?

As if it doesn't, just watching the video will be of little use. Those data bits are everything for solving this.
