my preview suddenly shows blank (black) while im doing my edits. whats going on?

my preview suddenly shows blank (black) while im doing my edits. whats going on?

im editing my adjustment layer above my footage, all of the sudden, it shows blank on my preview. when i try to double clock any of my footage, whether its on my project tab or my timeline, it also shows blank. yesterday everything was perfectly fine. but suddenly it happened today. the previous solution was to reinstall the premiere. it worked, but only for like 30 minutes. and then it happened again, and now i dont know what to do. should i reinstall everytime? :)))))))
