P: audio track mixer is not working after the premiere pro update. 25.2.0 Build 147

Hello! The audio panel "audio track mixer" is not working after the premiere pro update. Build147. There is simply no information in the audio track settings window.

I can't apply any effect to the audio track, just because the window is empty.

I've been having this issue for months. I've been waiting for a fix but before I post it as a bug, I'd like to see if anyone can tell me if it's on my end. I do a lot of jumping between workspaces, so this one is a bit of an annoyance.

If I open a saved workspace to see my track mixer, the sequence tracks are not showing. I have to close the panel and re-open it to see the sequence tracks. I'm attaching a movie to show what I'm talking about.

Hello,

Click the small arrow in the red circle (to the left of the "Tube-modele" label).

That arrow expands/collapses the section showing track information. Sometimes it gets collapsed automatically when switching workspaces.

If That Doesn’t Work: Reset the Workspace
Go to Window > Workspaces > Delete the problematic saved workspace.

Manually set up your workspace again:

Open the Audio Track Mixer via Window > Audio Track Mixer.

Make sure the tracks display properly.

Then go to Window > Workspaces > Save as New Workspace

Hi, thanks for the help. I tried twirling the arrow back and forth. No luck.

I tried your second option, that didn't do it either.

I also deleted the workspace from the Layouts folder in Documents. Still no luck. I usually have some track effects running in the sequence. I wonder if I blow those out, if that will make a difference.

Thanks, that helped. Closed the pannel, went to "Window" on Mac OS, and or Shift+6, to remove Audio Track Mixer. 25.2.3 (Build 4).

Premiere Pro performance has been perfect while using Sonoma 14.x and even Sequoia 15.x until I upgraded to version Sequoia 15.5. Now the app is not performing well and some parts of the user interface are not showing up or have gotten buggy.

Specifically, the Audio Track Mixer does not display when I click Audio in my menus. It will come back up if I quit the app and restart, sometimes it just comes back by clicking around.

So reproduce, work in the Editing mode a bit then click on the Audio tab. Normally the track mixer is there to work on but not now…I get a blank screen with some text on the far left edge of the panel.

I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro 2025.

Hardware/Softare - Mac Studio 2022, Apple M1 Max, 32GB

The issue affects all projects and started when I upgraded to Sequoia 15.5.

Hi @FPM-RBW,

Thank you for submitting a bug report and for adding the steps to reproduce. I am able to replicate and will notify the team.

I was able to bring the Audio Track Mixer back by closing the panel itself and re-opening it—not a great workaround but might be better than restarting the program completely.

Sorry for the frustration,

Dani

After the last update 25.2.3 the Audio Track Mixer disappears after the first time I use it. I have to close the panel and reopen it for to show it again.

It's not the same problem as just clicking on the arrow in the top left, it's the entire audio track mixer panel that disappears.

Same problem.

Windows 10. PP 25.2.3. (build 4).

The only thing that works is to close down the panel and open it up - very annoying - please fix this.

Same issue here - PP 25.2.3, Latest Sequoia 15.4.1, M3 Mac.

Restarted PP and it reappeared and then disappeared after playing through the timeline or switching to a different workspace. Really annoying - This issue was also in 25.2.2 so I had to revert back to 25.1

I get the same issue, hopefully bug gets fixed in the next update.

Current workaround:

1. Right-click > close Audio Track Mixer panel

2. Re-open (Window > Audio Track Mixer)

It should reset the panel.
